Nursing Staff
Individuals interested in nursing or veterinary technical positions should have at least 6 to 12 month experience and or have completed an animal nursing program, and be willing to work days, evenings, week-ends, and holidays. Individuals should have an interest in furthering their education and if eligible, sit for state licensing in California.

Internal Medicine Specialist
Animal Urgent Care and Specialty Group in association with Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego is pleased to offer a position for an Internal Medicine Specialist. This is a unique opportunity for a board certified or board qualified individual to direct his/her own internal medicine practice with the support of two state of the art facilities. We are looking for a caring, self directed, motivated individual that enjoys working with a group specialist. We believe that 4-day work - week will compliment the hospital, provide for a generous income, and allow for the right DVM to have an ownership percentage of the specialty hospital. The position is at the Escondido location with access to all the advanced imaging and radiation therapy of VSHSD (www.vshsd.com). Board certified surgeons, a criticalist and dermatologist are currently available at the Escondido location. The hospital is well equipped with color Doppler ultrasound, video endoscope and bronchoscope, laparoscope, digital radiography and telemetry.
